Accommodation
Before coming to Penlan, each child receives a camp book giving information about camp routine, kit list and information for parents. Accommodation is in four tented "villages", each exclusive to the school occupying it and situated in its own private area.



A village comprises nine large tents for children, two tents with beds for staff and an all weather building with table and chairs and kitchen. Tents are erected ready for occupation on arrival. All food is included in the price and the cooking facilities are specially designed for children to use safely. There is a modern toilet block with showers and washbasins, plus a deep sink for laundry and a tumble dryer.

A Field Studies Workroom houses a central supply of scientific apparatus, reference books, compasses, maps etc. In addition to our camping facilities we can offer journeys with hotel accommodation. Please ask for details.

Coach Travel and Days Out
Return coach travel to and from your school using modern coaches, plus coach excursions on two days during the week. As there is so much to do and see at each of our two locations, most schools prefer to spend one or two days exploring "home territory". Coaches are available for extra days out, if required, at very reasonable cost.
